With 96% of guests confirming they preferred the festival as a month after it was extended in 2020 - the festival organisers have made the decision to extend London Cocktail Week once again! This means a £15 wristband is valid for £7 cocktails for the whole month of October in an unrivalled collection of hundreds of London’s best bars - each hand selected by the organisers for their excellence. Participating bars include festival favourites Tāyer+Elementary, Blue Bar at The Berkeley, Artesian at The Langham, Lyaness, Sketch and Three Sheets alongside brand new openings such as Bar La Rampa, Sucre and Abajo, Park Row and Hacha Brixton.
New for 2021, London Cocktail Week has partnered with Covent Garden to launch The Essence House, a two-floor drinks experience in Carriage Hall on Covent Garden’s Floral Street created by The London Essence Co. The heart of the Covent Garden hub, the space will incorporate fully immersive, multi-sensory experiences alongside London Cocktail Week’s main bar showcasing the most exquisite cocktails served by the world’s best bar bartenders. The partnership was born with the main aim to encourage people to re-discover the West End and Covent Garden was chosen as it is one of the most famous meeting points in the capital. Visitors to Covent Garden will also be able to enjoy the best of global and independent dining, world class shopping as well as experience immersive art installations by artists such as Chila Burman and more.
As well as £7 cocktails in the capital’s very best bars, there will also be a full timetable of unmissable masterclasses, immersive pop-ups, bar takeovers, cocktail dinners and parties for everyone from amateur to expert, happening all over London. And with the festival now being a month-long, there is much more time to explore what’s on offer. The ‘London Cocktail Week At Home’ delivery service in partnership with The Drinks Drop will be on offer again so that everyone across the UK can enjoy some of the best £7 Signature Cocktails on offer, plus a number of tastings and masterclasses will also be available digitally.
With travel restrictions finally lifting - the invitation has been shared widely with the global bar community to be in London for this award-winning event. As such, the global drinks industry is coming together to ensure this year’s London Cocktail Week will be a true celebration and optimistic look ahead for the hospitality industry. Expect a whole host of events and exciting partnerships from its seven major drinks Portfolio partners - Bacardi-Martini, Brown-Forman UK, Diageo, Edrington UK, Moët Hennessy UK, Pernod Ricard UK and Remy Cointreau UK alongside 30 individual drinks brands, who are all inviting you to celebrate a fresh start and NEW Golden Age of cocktails!
Festival passes are available NOW and will be available to collect from any of the participating bars once the festival begins. London Cocktail Week is set to take place 01-31 October.
