Our 2021 Commitments

In 2020 London Cocktail Week was a lifeline to the capital’s bar scene. This year, once again the festival is committed to helping the hospitality industry bounce back by giving people a reason to get back into enjoying London’s unrivalled cocktail culture and celebrate a new beginning.

As always, we want London Cocktail Week to continue to be a platform for like-minded brands and venues to create innovative activities, attract eager consumers, and create relevant and worthwhile content that challenges both seasoned professionals and enthusiastic amateurs. But – more importantly - we want the 2021 festival to be the best support it possibly can be to the industry we love.

  • Our first commitment is to help get our bar partners back on their feet and keep people in employment. This happens through support from drinks brands and getting as many people as deemed safe through their doors and enjoying their delicious drinks. A majority of the bars we work with are small owner-operated businesses hard hit by the pandemic and really do need the support - last year’s London Cocktail Week was a real lifeline for them and this year will be the same!

  • Our second commitment is our social responsibility and the safety of our guests - and we will be working closely with all necessary authorities to ensure any venue we partner with meets a set of required standards. This also sadly means we have made the difficult decision of once again not running The Cocktail Village. In good news – London Cocktail Week will once again run for an entire month! With 96% of our guests surveyed after the event asking for it to stay extended - how could we refuse?! The extended dates give plenty of time for people to get round more bars they’d like to visit - even if capacity is limited - and also gives us the chance to celebrate and support London’s cocktail scene for even longer! Win win!
  • Our third commitment is maximising the number of people that can take part in the festival and ensure genuine inclusivity. We understand that many people's socialising habits have changed - and whilst some people are ready and raring to go out, others may prefer staying at home. As such, we will continue to offer a really great London Cocktail Week At Home experience, in partnership with The Drinks Drop which was new for 2020.

  • Our fourth commitment is to bring the London bar scene together to celebrate the start of better times, and remind everyone why London is the best city in the world! What better way to do that with a whole month of special drinks and experience in the capital’s greatest cocktail venues!

Our bar partners and our sponsors have come together in unanimous support of these steps and we’re all working very hard behind the scenes to ensure that London Cocktail Week 2021 is a true celebration of London's unrivalled cocktail culture and a new exciting era for London's bar scene!

London Cocktail Week 2021 is set to take place over the month of October - however if there is another lockdown, we will postpone or pause. If that happens, your tickets will be fully transferable or refundable if preferred.

See you at the bar London! Every cocktail counts!
